I began by taking pictures of plates that had left over food in it. They were greasy and messy. Above, it is a picture of already eaten fish - a food that is considered relatively from a high class. As you can see, the plate looks nothing but tempting.
Above is a close up picture of a hersheys pie from Burger King. I left the pie on my balcony for 2 days to melt and rot. I then took a close up of the goo. What Im trying to show that it is STILL hersheys pie, just looked at in a differnt image.
In this case, it is a banana that i also left to rot for a couple of days in the sun. I then smushed it and let the rotten and smelly mush ooze out.
This finally picture is of a "boston creme" donut from Dunkin' Donuts. In advertisements, they appear mouthwatering and tempting (above), creating an incentive for people to buy them straight away. In MY picture (the one above the delicious donuts), the opposite effect is shown. I am playing around with the way food is percieved.
