This blog was made for my Senior Project course on September 7, 2007. It shares previous works and projects I have made throughout my college years. It will also provide information on what I plan to do for my final senior project.
My name is Maya Kusybi. I was born on May 17, 1986 in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. I am currently in my final year in the American University of Dubai, hoping to achieve a degree in visual communications, specifically, advertisment.
My view of art has changed in the past 4 years. I used to think that art is something that anyone can do and that there is no logic behind it. I even remember having an argument with a teacher on this topic. However, several years later, I now know that art is much more complicated than what I used to think. It is a form of expression and every piece has a logic, concept and a technique behind it. Art has changed the way I look at things, even in every day life situations.
